I am new to quilting, but I love the end result!
I love everything about quilting but probably picking out the fabrics is my favorite followed closely by needleturn applique. And lets not forget the friendships formed in the quilting world.

The quilt I made for on behalf on my black and white catg. I made the cat quilt, took me 2 years to make but I won first prize in our Fair. To receive a homemade handbag is quite the gift to receive. It is the best feeling to have made something and to have been with it throught the entire process..you can do that with quilting and sewing. Then to have something useful and to share the love you have put into it and hopefully enrich another is my ultimate goal.
